I’m more comfortable in a hardware store than a jewelry store. I enjoy walking the aisles and seeing the dusty bins of nuts, bolts, tools and widgets and dreaming about how they can elegantly come together to solve a problem.

I am motivated by solving other people’s problems.

Now, before you draw up a vision of me in a stained flannel shirt with hammers and levels banging against my tool belt while renovating a New England farmhouse let’s talk about javascript frameworks, over clocking CPU’s and the fact that Google docs can basically solve anything.

Yes, I’m a geek, a nerd, a digital savant who has decided, after years of escalating management responsibilities, that I want to pursue a life of building web solutions.

I’ve worked as a general manager/fixer for various creative services teams and recently worked as Head of Studio Management for The Wall Street Journal’s in-house agency.

My skills working with editors, designers, and developers to help them bridge operational, technical and political challenges led to promotions and personal growth. Now I want to get back to digital basics and help people who need a site, a tool or a bridge to their next step.

I’ve put together a portfolio of recent projects, but I’m always working on new things and finding new problems to solve. You can find my resume here or on LinkedIn.

Thank you for stopping by and please don’t hesitate to reach out and let me know how I can build something for you!
